Grand Events / Grand Rental has remained open during COVID-19, and they have implemented new procedures to ensure the safety and health of both clients and delivery drivers. The following statement was issued regarding their responsive actions:
- “We have instructed all employees if they experience any symptoms, they must stay home and follow proper isolation guidelines.
- During the delivery process, we have instructed our drivers to sign on behalf of the customer from a safe distance of 6 feet or more. They will ask your employee to verify the items that were delivered and or picked up. The driver will sign on their behalf and then print their name as usual.
- In addition to the delivery changes, we are also implementing changes to our phone ordering procedures. We are asking that all phone orders be paid over the phone with a credit card before your arrival and that you back up to our pick-up door and call us upon your arrival so we can meet you with your items and your receipt. This will help limit contact from both parties with an effort to keep everyone safe. If this policy is not allowed by your company, please reach out and let us know, as we will work something out that is safe for everyone.
- Every afternoon when employees arrive back to the shop they will sanitize their trucks and equipment thoroughly. They are washing their hands frequently as well.”
