    Survey Reveals a Significant Amount of Planners are Holding Next Face-to-Face Event This Year

    Etc.venues recently collected results from 405 meeting planners between the U.S. and U.K. about how their plans for face-to-face meetings.  Their survey reveals that 76% of U.S.-based meeting planners are holding face-to-face functions this year.  Of those planners, 59% are solely focusing on the face-to-face component of these events, rather than making these events hybrid or virtual.

    68% of these planners believe that hybrid events will remain common post-pandemic, which has gone down five percentage points from December 2020.  Additionally, 82% of these meeting planner say they value in-person meetings more now than before the pandemic, which is down six percentage points from December 2020.
