Special Olympics Missouri Hosts 49th annual St. Louis Area Spring Games


Special Olympics Missouri is excited to host the 49th annual St. Louis Area Spring Games this Saturday, May 4 at Westminster Christian Academy. This event is a qualifying track and field and swim meet for over 300 registered Special Olympics athletes in and around the St. Louis Area as they prepare for State Summer Games in Columbia, Missouri.

An Opening Ceremony is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Westminster Christian Academy, rain or shine. Law Enforcement officers from across the community will participate in a Torch Run to kick off the games. Athletes will compete until 2:00 PM in a variety of running, jumping, throwing and swimming events.
