Downtown St. Louis will gain a refreshed meetings destination when Midas Hospitality completes its $81 million revitalization of the historic Edison Brothers Building. The property is scheduled to reopen in fall 2027 as the Sheraton St. Louis Downtown.
Planners can look forward to 284 renovated guest rooms, generous top-floor meeting and event space, and a versatile rooftop outdoor deck. The project also features upgrades throughout the hotel and public areas, enhanced street-level offerings, and full restoration of the building’s signature trompe l’oeil mural.
Situated at 400 S. 14th St. just one block from Enterprise Center, the nearly 950,000-square-foot landmark provides easy access to Ballpark Village, Busch Stadium, CityPark, and other downtown attractions. Originally constructed in the late 1920s, the National Register-listed building has housed a hotel and condominiums for more than two decades.
