    Report Shows Significant Unemployment Recovery for Kansas

    Wallethub recently came out with an updated unemployment report that illustrates how quickly Kansas is rebounding from heightened unemployment.  With #1 being the fastest recovery, and #51 being the slowest recovery, Kansas ranks #14 in the nation.

    This report ranked each state with the following parameters:

    • Unemployment Rate (July 2020)
    • Change in Unemployment (July 2020 vs. July 2019)
    • Change in Unemployment (July 2020 vs. January 2020)
    • Not Seasonally Adjusted Continued Claims (July 2020 vs. July 2019)

    The following chart reflects the progress the state has made to reemploy associates over the past couple of months:

    Overall Rank State Unemployment Rate (Jul 2020) Change in Unemployment (July 2020 vs. July 2019) Change in Unemployment (July 2020 vs. January 2020) Not Seasonally Adjusted Continued Claims (July 2020 vs. July 2019)
