From an energetic and inspiring opening keynote to networking sessions to a full day packed with education, Smart Monday, powered by MPI, helped kick off IMEX America 2014.
“MPI is proud to return as the strategic partner and premier education provider for the fourth edition of this impressive trade show,” Paul Van Deventer, president CEO of MPI, said Monday. “We are an association keenly focused on the professional development of meeting and event professionals, so the program we designed is filled with best-in-class educational and networking opportunities.”
Twice the number of sessions were offered, compared to last year’s show with four keynotes and 39 education sessions totaling more than 45 clock hours.
“MPI has been committed to delivering value to our members and the industry for more than 40 years, and our strong partnership with IMEX is an important way in which we fulfill that commitment,” Van Deventer said.
Pat Schaumann, MPI’s director of professional development-healthcare sector, conducted a Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate session.
MPI’s education team will be presenting additional education during trade show days at the MPI booth beginning today. To see a list of sessions, go to http://www.mpiweb.org/Events/imex-2014/additional-education.
