    Zach Franklin has been promoted to Sports Supervisor at the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). Responsible for marketing and selling Columbia as a sports destination, Franklin identifies potential business, builds relationships with event planners, and works with local organizers and facility personnel to coordinate event bids. Since joining the CVB, Franklin has been instrumental in securing multiple high-profile sporting events in partnership with local stakeholders.

    A 2017 graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism, with an emphasis in Sports Management, Franklin interned with the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department before joining the Columbia CVB in the fall of 2017 as the Sports Sales Manager.
