Christina Longino recently joined VisitCape as Office Administrator. While she has only lived in Cape Girardeau since February 2021, tourism has always been in her blood. Her passion for hospitality began with a college program internship at Walt Disney World, which quickly evolved into a four-year career at Disney. This spanned fields such as merchandising, high-volume loss prevention, training fellow employees, and excellent guest service. Her tourism career also expanded to working at the Biloxi Convention and Visitors Center in Biloxi, MS as a docent leading museum and lighthouse tours.

Her enthusiasm for going above and beyond for guests has not waned. In Cape Girardeau, she leads the charge on welcoming Mississippi River cruise boats with her team of volunteers known as Paddlewheelers. Christina also coordinates tours of local downtown Cape Girardeau attractions.

“My favorite part of working in tourism has always been making life-long memories for families. One simple act of going above and beyond to make their trip a little more special is something that could be talked about for years to come. I am lucky enough to do it every day.”
