Caleb Stangroom has been promoted to Head Chef for Hotel Vandivort.

After joining the team in August 2017, he was promoted to Sous Chef one year later. During that time, he further contributed to the dynamic Springfield dining scene as the Chef/Owner of the highly successful pop-up concept, Element.

“I’m excited to continue to cook for and serve our city – to create forward momentum in the food scene and get people excited about food in the downtown area,” Stangroom said, crediting the chefs he worked for early in his career with inspiring him to continually push himself and Springfield’s dining scene forward. “Caleb has demonstrated a passion for creation since the moment I met him,” Zackary Oxley, General Manager, said. “Not only does his desire to create something bold and innovative make him an exciting chef to watch, it also serves him as a mentor to the talented members of the team. I am truly excited to see what Caleb has in store for Hotel Vandivort, The Order and Springfield.”

Hotel Vandivort is managed by IDM Hospitality Management.
