    Visit Manhattan is pleased to announce Amber Wilhelm as the Convention Sales Manager. She assumed this position in March 2020, and her primary responsibility is attracting associations, corporations, and government businesses to Manhattan. 

    Amber is a Kansas State University graduate, holding a degree in Hospitality Management with an emphasis in Convention and Meeting & Event Management with a minor in Business Management.  While a student at Kansas State, she received the “Extraordinary Student Award.”  This award is given to a student who has been successful in their academic pursuits while facing opposition or significant obstacles.

    Amber’s work history with special events and meetings, along with her passion for the Manhattan community and ability to work with people, will serve her well. as
