MARIA DAVIS RETURNS TO THE RESORT AT PORT ARROWHEAD AS DIRECTOR OF SALES
The Resort at Port Arrowhead, located in Lake Ozark, Missouri, is pleased to announce the return of Maria R. Davis, CMP as the new Director of Sales. In this capacity, Davis will be responsible for growing the resort’s Meetings and Conventions business and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department.

Davis represents 20 years of Hotel/Resort Sales experience. Most recently, Davis worked for The Lodge of Four Seasons, where she was tasked with maintaining and developing convention business from the Association, Corporate, Government, and SMERF (Social, Military, Education, Religious, Fraternal) sectors and also executed the Lodge’s very first and highly acclaimed Chef’s Table. In Kansas City, she has worked for the Doubletree Hotel (Overland Park, KS), Station Casino (now Ameristar Casino), and the Embassy Suites at the Plaza. Internationally, she worked at the Holiday Inn Convention Hotel, Hyatt Regency Manila, and Club Paradise Resort in the Philippines.

DENISE FRITZ JOINS THE OMNI MAJESTIC HOTEL, ST. LOUIS AS SENIOR SALES MANAGER
A native of Festus, Fritz attended Festus Senior High School and Southeast Missouri State University with a major in music education. Her primary focus for the Omni Majestic will be working with the business transient market segment.

Denise started in the hospitality industry in 1993 by managing a tourist attraction, The St. Louis Iron Mountain and Southern Railroad, located in Jackson, MO. From there,  she worked for Drury Hotels in the St. Louis area for 7 years, including front desk and sales roles.

The Omni Majestic Hotel marks the fourth historic St. Louis hotel on Fritz’s resume. After being part of the opening hotel team for the Drury Plaza in downtown St. Louis, historic hotels have become her niche. Fritz has also worked in sales for the Mayfair Hotel and also the Hilton St. Louis Downtown.

BURNELL GOLDMAN JOINS THE OMNI MAJESTIC HOTEL, ST. LOUIS AS GENERAL MANAGER
Goldman joined Omni Hotels and Resorts in 2006 as the Director of Rooms at the Omni Severin Hotel in Indianapolis. He truly believes in “Leaders Creating Leaders”  and has been successful in promoting 16 Associates during his tenure. Each of these is a testament to his leadership.

A Chicago native, Goldman began his hospitality career as a Restaurant Manager at the Doubletree Northshore Hotel in Skokie, IL. From there he went on to Interstate Hotels, and had the opportunity to work at several hotels in Illinois, New York, Virginia, and Las Vegas from 2000 to 2006. \The positions he held while with Interstate included Director of Restaurants, Director of Catering Operations, Assistant General Manager, and Director of Rooms.

Goldman received a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration. He was very active in the local Indianapolis community. He was the VP of Minorities in Hospitality Group, was an Advisory Board Member of The Chef’s Academy, and was a Steering Committee Member for the Indianapolis Concierge and Associates of Hospitality.
