After a competitive review, Osborn Barr | Paramore (OBP), a full-service agency with offices in St. Louis, Kansas City and Nashville, was named the agency of record for the Missouri Division of Tourism (MTD), replacing MDT’s long-standing agency, Hoffman Lewis.

OBP’s efforts will focus on driving visitors to the state through strategic planning, advertising, public relations, media planning and digital for the Missouri Division of Tourism. The multi-year contract will include new creative work expected to launch in 2020.

“We’re looking forward to our new partnership with OBP,” said Ward Franz, director of the Missouri Division of Tourism. “It was clear the team really understood how to inspire travelers through their knowledge of what the state has to offer.”

The Missouri Division of Tourism—the state agency within the Missouri Department of Economic Development—works to promote the “Show-Me State” as a tourist destination, thus creating jobs, tax revenue and economic development.

“Not only was our agency founded in Missouri, but it’s deep history in the fabric of America has long been a destination for travelers,” said Rhonda Ries, president of OBP. “We’re excited to push into new audiences and leverage our tourism experience to increase the economic value tourism can bring the state we love so dearly.”
