The recently rebranded Open Season Sportsman’s Expo Series is headed to Kansas in 2021 as Overland Park will welcome the series at the Overland Park Convention Center. The inaugural Open Season Sportsman’s Expo in Overland Park is set for Friday, March 12 through Sunday, March 14, 2021.

The Overland Park Convention Center, which opened in 2002, sits on a 26-acre site in Overland Park, which is the largest suburban city in the Kansas City metropolitan area and the second largest city in Kansas.

“We can’t wait to get to Overland Park and introduce the Open Season Sportsman’s Expo to the state of Kansas and the Kansas City metropolitan area,” said Chris O’Hara, Vertical Outdoor Director, Bonnier Events. “Kansas is home to 300,000 acres of public lands and more than 1 million acres of private land that is open to hunters and is ranked as one of the top states for Pheasant and Quail. As we continue to expand the Open Season Sportsman’s Expo brand, Overland Park plays a key role in our strategic growth.”

The Kansas Open Season Sportsman’s Expo will be filled with the latest products, gear and equipment for hunting, fishing and outdoor enthusiasts. Attendees can meet industry insiders and celebrities, attend educational seminars and demonstrations, test out the newest products, shop for special show deals and bring their deer to have it scored.

Open Season Sportsman’s Expo events present new products and learning experiences for hunting, fishing and outdoor enthusiasts. The Expo Series features everything from bow trials and archery trick shooting to a trophy deer contest and much more. Open Season Expo Series events provide the unique opportunity to meet and learn from the most knowledgeable experts in the outdoor industry.

Information on exhibits, seminars and demonstrations as well how to purchase tickets for the 2021 Kansas Open Season Sportsman’s Expo will be available soon.
