Construction continues to gain momentum at Oasis Lake of the Ozarks, with crews now installing major attractions for the destination’s planned Spring 2027 debut. The Oasis development through a partnership by Skyview Partners and Big Thunder Marine..

The latest addition is Dragon Run, the resort’s signature family suspended roller coaster. Inspired by the winding shape of the Lake of the Ozarks, the nearly 1,500-foot coaster will reach speeds of up to 42 mph, taking riders through twists, curves and two tunnel dives. Designed as a multigenerational attraction, Dragon Run is the second roller coaster to be installed at Oasis, following the completion of the Shootout Boomerang coaster earlier this summer.

Another recently installed attraction, The Plunge, marks the resort’s first amusement park ride. The 100-foot family drop tower slowly lifts riders above the lake before delivering a series of controlled drops while rotating to provide panoramic views. Standing about as tall as the Natural Bridge at Ha Ha Tonka State Park, The Plunge will become one of the tallest structures in the region and one of the park’s signature attractions.

According to Todd Schneider, Operating Partner and Co-managing Partner of Skyview Partners, 12 amusement rides are planned for Oasis, with additional attractions continuing to be installed throughout the summer. The amusement park will operate without admission or parking fees, allowing guests arriving by either vehicle or boat to purchase unlimited ride passes or individual ride tickets while enjoying restaurants, games, and other entertainment throughout the property.

The first phase of the project—including the amusement park, parking garage, and boat slips—is scheduled to open in Spring 2027. The following phases will add a 401-room Marriott Resort & Conference Center, an indoor water park, a 200-foot observation wheel, multiple restaurants, and additional attractions, creating a year-round entertainment destination.

Once complete, the destination will combine resort accommodations, conference facilities, and family-friendly entertainment, providing an exciting option for conferences, incentive travel, and group events at the Lake of the Ozarks.
