A new food hall is planned for downtown St. Louis, adding another gathering space for visitors, residents, and event attendees in the city’s convention and entertainment district.

Wash Ave Food Hall is expected to open in October at 1122 Washington Ave, the former location of Reign nightclub and Copia Restaurant and Wine Garden. The 10,000-square-foot venue will feature eight food-and-beverage concepts, including six full-service kitchens, specialty vendors, and two central bars.

The project also includes an indoor/outdoor event space with a retractable roof, providing flexibility for dining, networking events, and social gatherings throughout the year.

Developed by Oliver Properties and operated by FIRETEN Hospitality, the food hall is designed to serve as both a dining destination and community gathering space. Plans include integrated ordering technology, entertainment programming, and shared seating areas intended to encourage social interaction.

“This is not just a food hall—it’s an anchor for connection, relationships, food and experience,” says Alex Oliver of Oliver Properties in a recent statement.

For meeting planners, the venue’s location may offer a convenient option for off-site receptions, attendee meetups, and group dining. The property is within walking distance of America’s Center Convention Complex, Busch Stadium, Enterprise Center, the Gateway Arch, St. Louis Union Station, and Energizer Park.
