The Missouri Society of Association Executives (MSAE) is a professional organization for association executives aiming to increase the effectiveness, image, and impact of their association towards its members and society. MSAE consists of approximately 250 regular members holding management positions with state associations, and 200 associate members from firms or corporations engaged in promoting products or services to associations.
There are several benefits and resources that come with an MSAE membership. MSAE members gain access to educational workshops and seminars, professional development opportunities, leadership programs, a membership/lobby directory, account profile reports, salary surveys, and the MSAE member portal which connects members with one another, allows members to post their resume, and discover current job openings.
Additionally, MSAE offers educational programs that help members obtain certifications and credentials that, ultimately, provide more career-enriching opportunities. MSAE members can earn their Certified Association Executive (CAE) and Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designations, as well as attend educational programs throughout the year that carry CAE and CMP credit.
MSAE also sponsors the Excellence Through Leadership scholarship, in cooperation with the Missouri Association of Student Councils (MASC). Though this scholarship can advance industry professionals in several ways, MSAE offers a program that helps members obtain their CAE/CMP designation through the association.
