The city currently has a mask ordinance in place and businesses are operating at a limited capacity to ensure social distancing to help stop the spread of the virus.

Another is the city is just a few miles from the population center of the contiguous United States which means 50% of the population lives within driving distance of Springfield. Not only that, the city is easily accessible from all directions via major highways and the Springfield-Branson National Airport.
