Westport Plaza owner Lodging Hospitality Management (LHM) has announced they will open two new restaurants and the development’s first residential community on the 42-acre site.
Soda Fountain Express will recreate the success of the original Soda Fountain at St. Louis Union Station. The retro-style diner will serve traditional diner foods with a modern twist as well as its famous Freak Shakes, creative milkshakes loaded with extravagant toppings. The restaurant will open in the former Panera Bread location in June 2023.
At the top of the iconic Gold Tower at Westport Plaza, 360 West will be an indoor and outdoor restaurant and bar that builds on the popularity of the original 360 West, located at the top of St. Louis Hilton at Ballpark Village in downtown St. Louis. The Westport location will offer lunch and dinner, creative cocktails, and a terrace with views over St. Louis County. 360 West will open in December 2023.
Westport Plaza’s first residential community, The Porter, will open in January 2025. The 377,750-square-foot complex will offer 255 one and two-bedroom luxury apartment homes, along with residential garage space and a community club room with fitness and yoga centers. Residents will also have access to a private courtyard with a pool, spa, and leisure areas.
Additionally, LHM will be completing renovations of Westport Plaza’s two Sheraton hotels in 2023. New green space will be created within the plaza for concerts and other outdoor special events.
