    Join eXplore Lawrence for a session on The Weaponization of Travel.  This event will take place on January 23, 2020, at the Cider Gallery from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and will be sponsored by Meet Kansas magazine.  With a strong focus on Destinations International’s studies on travel boycotts, attendees will learn how to mitigate these occurrences and understand their impact.

    Agenda:

    11:00 am – 11:30 am Registration Opens 

    11:30 am – 12:00 pm Lunch Opens

    12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Weaponization of Travel Presentation

    This program has been approved by EIC for the following education value.

    Clock Hours:  CMP-IS Domain C: Risk Management, 1 CEU

    You will receive 1 clock hours for attending this education program.  On your CMP application/renewal this would be categorized toward CMP International Standards – Domain C: Risk Management, 1 CEU. 

    EIC Course Objectives:Understanding the nature and impact of a potential/travel boycott; the efficacy of travel boycotts and what actions to take if your event is impacted.
