The Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitor Bureau (CVB) Annual Dinner was held on Wednesday, March 15, at Margaritaville Lake Resort with nearly 300 attendees representing numerous local business owners, community and organization leaders, Missouri State Representatives, and Chamber of Commerce Directors. The evening started with a networking reception centered around a large silent auction. After a wonderful dinner, the presentation began.
There was a short presentation by Heather Brown, Executive Director of the Lake of the Ozarks Convention and Visitor Bureau. Heather Brown announced that this year The Lake is honoring a community member with a special Appreciation Award. It is given to individuals that give years of service to the promotion of tourism. This year’s Appreciation Award went to Steve Thompson with Bridal Cave Thunder Mountain Park.
Heather Brown then announced the winner of the 2023 Partner In Tourism Award. The Partner In Tourism Award is to be awarded to individuals that demonstrate leadership in the tourism industry. This year’s winners are Sheryl Elia and Jeff Dorhauer.
MEET
