From celebrating the Holidays Hawaiian style to learning more about “NDC”, the GBTA St. Louis Chapter Board of Directors has been very pleased with the most recent event attendance. The goal is to provide an open forum for the exchange of ideas between corporate travel workforce, travel industry suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
Holiday Gala
“Hula on over!” Everyone dressed up in their best Hawaiian outfits for a wonderful night of celebrating and networking. During the event, funds were raised with a silent auction for the GBTA St. Louis Annual Scholarship Raffle.
GBTA Leadership Summit
Seven of the GBTA St. Louis Board Members had the incredible opportunity to attend the GBTA Leadership Summit in Los Angeles. Best practices were shared about increasing membership, meeting content, sponsorships, venue sourcing, scholarships, treasury, succession planning, and more.
January Membership Meeting
There was a record attendance! Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, Executive Director, St. Louis Lambert International Airport, provided updates on the future plans for the airport. U.S. Customs and Border Protections shared very insightful information regarding Global Entry, and the Department of Homeland Security demonstrated a K9 live in action!
Virtual March Membership Meeting
Why NDC is important? The St. Louis GBTA invited American Airlines and Amadeus to speak directly with their members about the history (why), evolution/breakthrough (how), and the value it will drive into the future.
