Jason Fulvi to Become New President & CEO of Visit KC

As of September 12th, Jason Fulvi, CDME, a 32-year veteran of the hospitality and tourism industries, will join Visit KC as their new President and CEO.

Fulvi comes directly from VisitPITTSBURGH, where he spent 16 years, holding key positions in departments such as partner development, destination services, convention sales, sports and research, and most recently served as Executive Vice President.

Craig Davis, President and CEO of VisitPITTSBURGH, said of Fulvi: “Over the last 16 years he has been a dedicated and hardworking leader whose contributions have been essential to our success. He has overseen his teams with determination and professionalism, and as a passionate advocate for the mission of this organization. Without a doubt, Kansas City is gaining a proven, dynamic leader.”

Fulvi also gained the approval of Visit KC Board Chairwoman CiCi Rojas, who said of his selection, “We were drawn to Mr. Fulvi because of his extensive background in hospitality, widespread industry knowledge and proven ability to lead and empower. I am excited and inspired by his selection.” He has also been enthusiastically endorsed by KC City Manager Troy Shulte, Mayor Sly James, and President & CEO of Destinations International Don Welsh.

Fulvi also holds positions in organizations such as the American Society of Association Executives, the Professional Convention Management Association, and the Destinations International Foundation, where he serves as Chairman.
