Scenes from “A Christmas Carol” at Historic Sappington House
Walk through a cherished Dickens’ Christmas 1843 with Dance Discovery at the Fezziwig party and the Cratchit family singers as Anne Williams presents a dramatic recitation.

Reservations every hour (5, 6 and 7 pm) $20 adults. No refunds. No Saturday performances.
Ticket price includes tea and scones in The Barn restaurant, a gingerbread house display and shopping in the Loft Gift Shop before or after your scheduled performance. Purchase tickets through Eventbrite.
The 12-person audience for each performance is NOT seated, instead you walk through a five-room historic house including a staircase.
Historic Saint Louis presents “A Spirited Holiday Past”
December 2, 2023 Saturday 10 am – 4 pm
Before Christmas trees were a tradition, simple boughs of greenery decorated Historic Sappington House, which opens a window to look back to the early 1800s. In the parlour, a pianist or violinist will be playing carols for visitors to sing along. Gingerbread houses will be on display in the library. Find the yesteryear “story connections” during a house-to-house regional tour of 25 sites. Holiday treats will be served.
$8 adults; $1 children under 12. Partially handicap accessible.

Day Trip to Quaint Country Churches

To Apple Creek churches we go! By motorcoach, join our tour of country churches adorned in Christmas finery as featured in AAA Explorer’s “Chasing Steeples.” Enjoy a home-style meal and treats and shop for handmade crafts. Cost is $85; reservations required. Deadline Tuesday, December 5 with no refunds after the 5th.
