GBTA St. Louis’ Pop-up Picnic is a Week Away!

By Mattie Yallaly, GBTA-St. Louis Vice President

There is only a week until GBTA St. Louis’ first Pop-Up Family Picnic! Free to all members, this is an opportunity to introduce your families to your GBTA family as we continue to grow.  Join the camaraderie at Tilles Park in the Skow Pavaillon on July 9th from 4 to 8pm.

Hamburgers and hotdogs will provided with condiments as well as plates, napkins, and utensils. Just bring a side dish (or bag of chips) and beverage of your choice. Toss your ball glove in the car or bring that frisbee. Cornhole will also be available, so come to the park and play! Or simply grab your favorite koozie to keep your drink chilled while catching up.

Please take a moment to register yourself and family so we get a head count at stlbta.org.

Additionally, the Annual GBTA Scholarship Raffle is back! Two grand prizes are on deck for the lucky winners:

  • Two Round Trip Tickets on United Airlines, Two-night complimentary stay at The Hyatt Place Page/Lake Powell, $50 Uber Gift Card
  • Two Round Trip Tickets on United Airlines, Two-night complimentary stay at The Ven at Embassy Row in Washington D.C., $50 Uber Gift Card

Only 300 tickets available and will be $20 each or 3 for $50. Drawing will be held at our Holiday Gala in December. Winner will have all of 2022 to redeem the flights and hotel stay. Tickets will be available for purchase at events or by contacting a Board member.
