Once again, GBTA-St. Louis knocked it out of the park! Or rather: Picnicked in the park. So often, when gatherings take place, families are not able to attend, although they are a big part of what makes this association so unique. This year, GBTA-St. Louis launched a “Pop-Up” Family Picnic so our members could gather with their families to have the opportunity to meet.
On July 9th, at Tilles Park in the Skow Pavilion, smoked pork and turkey with baked beans from SugarFire were served alongside pot-luck dishes and snacks. Members were able to relax and catch up or test their skills playing Cornhole. Plans for next year’s event are already being laid out!
GBTA-St. Louis strives to provide an environment where buyers and suppliers in the travel industry can meet, network, and gain valuable insights. An environment that concentrates more on relationship-development, rather than formal sales presentations. Travel managers can leverage their collective experience and suppliers can provide information and answer questions.
Membership to the GBTA-St. Louis Chapter is a fun and multi-faceted benefit – not only for professional development, but personal growth as well. For additional information, contact Shannon Vines at membership@stlbta.org.
To be an integral part of the fun, sponsorship opportunities are available for a variety of levels and events. Ensure your presence and visibility by contacting Brian Klimaski at development@stlbta.org to find out more.
