Hart Hotels, an Omaha hotel development company, is planning a 98-room dual-branded hotel at Johnstown’s 2534 development in Fort, Collins Colorado. This developer is building a Sleep Inn and MainStay Suites hotel, and it is expected to open in the fall of 2020.
The hotel will be built northeast of the Scheels store and southeast of Interstate 25 and U.S. 34. This property will be the third hotel developed along 2534 in the past few years; the others are the Wingate by Wyndham and Hawthorn Extended Stay dual-branded hotel and the Comfort Suites.
The Sleep Inn side of the new four-story hotel will have 65 traditional hotel rooms, and the MainStay Suites will have 33 larger rooms with kitchens. The property will have an indoor pool, free guest laundry, a coffee bar, and a free hot breakfast. Hart Hotels plans to build hotels in five other Colorado markets. One of those future projects is a Sleep Inn and MainStay Suites under development in Denver’s Stapleton area.
