Wow, this year has really flown by, right? The Board of Directors for the GBTA St. Louis Chapter has been diligently planning events behind the scenes for the remainder of 2022 and into 2023. Their goal is to provide an open forum for the exchange of ideas between the corporate travel workforce, travel industry suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
October 26-27, 2022 – Education Day
A spectacular two-day event began with an evening rooftop reception at Le Meridien in downtown Clayton, where the group enjoyed networking, sunset views, great food, and good vibes! The day following included an extraordinary vendor fair and a hand selection of main stage speakers.
The meeting began with a Travel Managers Exchange Forum exclusively for buyers only. Throughout the day, the audience learned key updates about TSA/Global Entry, the St. Louis Airport, and heard firsthand from Government, Public Affairs, and Community Relations experts. Attendees were also able to discover why a corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion program is critical to the future success of the travel industry.
Healing Actions was the GBTA St. Louis 2022 Education Day chosen non-profit organization net proceeds to benefit. The Founder & Executive Director of Healing Actions was there to further educate the audience about their organization and how to get involved.
This action-packed day ended with amazing prize drawings, including airline flight credits, hotel room nights, gift cards, and much more!
