Marta’s, a family-owned upscale clothing and accessories boutique located in West St. Louis County, hosted its first annual benefit fashion show on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Kemp Auto Museum in Chesterfield Valley. The event raised more than $12,000 for Ranken Jordan Pediatric Specialty Hospital. The Friends of the Saint Louis University Liver Center recently hosted their 5th annual “Denim & Diamonds” Concert and Gala Event on November 9 and 10, 2007. Friday night’s concert at The Pageant, featuring New Orleans-based rock band Cowboy Mouth, drew more than 850 supporters and fans. Pictured is the board of the Saint Louis University Liver Center.
More than 350 guests enjoyed Saturday night’s gala at The Ritz Carlton-St. Louis, hosted by the Denim & Diamonds Honorary Chairs Lisa and Vic Turvey. (Vic is pictured with Paul Zemitzsch, Crystal Bettis and Dr. Robin Ude.) Both the Denim & Diamonds Concert and Gala events raised more than $330,000 for the Saint Louis University Liver Center.
