MM&E took part in giving back to the community this past holiday season. All the items collected at the company holiday
party were donated to H.E.R.O.E.S. Care, a nonprofit organization that provides service members, veterans, and their families care and support before, during and after deployment in the communities where they live. Since 2003, H.E.R.O.E.S. Care of Fenton, Mo., has provided material, financial and other support to more than 150,000 military families.
Taking a Taste of Winter on the day before Groundhog Day, guests of the St. Charles Convention Center enjoyed a delicious selection Feb. 1 of the SCCC’s fine appetizers, salads, main course dishes, and desserts. Held in the spacious exhibit Hall, the 22nd Annual Taste of Winter was designed to assist attendees in making food choices for an event hosted at the St. Charles Convention Center. Sales and catering managers were available to discuss any questions and to make recommendations. Vikki Matthews of Publishing Concepts (L) and the SCCC’s Katie Conoyer mingle between bites and sips.
Publishing Concepts and Missouri Meetings & Events welcomed meeting planners, clients, staff, vendors and many enthusiastic supporters to the St. Louis offices of both companies for a holiday open house. Guests got their munchies satiated by the fabulous Pizza-A-Go-Go restaurant in the neighborhood, arguably the city’s best pizza, with salad provided by Brazie’s Restaurant. Chef Martin Lopez provided an interactive demonstration using his new line of spices to make a one-of-a-kind Mexican chorizo pizza.
Selfie Events captured guests as they toured the offices and enjoyed the companies’ digs and the company of one another. Using heir new style of open photo booths, Selfie Events helped MM&E share the evening of fun and folderol on social media platforms, inserting guests (like it or not) into the selfie-loving society we’ve all grown to admire… um; tolerate.
A lucky few guests took home raffle prizes… but everyone was treated to a gift bag overflowing with goodies. We’re confident nobody went home hungry. If we didn’t see you this last time, we hope you make it to this year’s bash! (But where will you find an invitation? Why, maybe in a magazine… or on social media. Yikes!)
