Dog Day at the St. Louis Wheel

It’s the “Dog Days” of August, National Dog Month and a party in honor of National Dog Day (officially August 26). To celebrate, you and your furry friend are invited to enjoy a ride together on The St. Louis Wheel at Union Station on Monday, August 28.
Bring Fido and Rover to The St. Louis Wheel at Union Station, which will welcome canine passengers from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. for just the second time ever. (The first Dog Day on The St. Louis Wheel was held on March 23, 2022 in honor of National Puppy Day.)
Water bowls will be available on the Purina Performance Plaza at The Wheel. Good boys and girls also will get a free treat while supplies last.
On Monday only, dogs can ride free with their ticketed humans. Tickets are available in person at The Wheel box office or online in advance at www.thestlouiswheel.com. Dogs must be leashed while on the Plaza and on The Wheel.
The 200-foot-tall observation wheel’s 42 gondolas are kept at a comfortable 72 degrees all year, so pups will be comfortable on the ride no matter the weather. Human and doggie riders will get a 20-mile view of the St. Louis skyline from the top of the popular attraction.
