Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center in Branson, Missouri captured another honor: the coveted “Best of MidAmerica Award” from Meetings Today magazine. The award recognizes an elite list of the top meeting sites in 11 MidAmerica states as determined by votes cast by the magazine’s readers, which consists of meeting professionals throughout the United States. Winners were recognized in the September 2019 issue of Meetings Today magazine, and a plaque commemorating the honor was provided to Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center’s General Manager John Parker.
For the “Best of MidAmerica Award,” readers were asked to vote for the region’s most outstanding choices for meetings, based on quality of meeting space, guest rooms, guest services and amenities, food and beverage service, the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff, the availability of technical equipment, recreational facilities and activities, and overall value and experience.
Situated in the beautiful Ozark Mountains overlooking scenic Table Rock Lake, the 301-room resort boasts one of the largest convention centers in Southwest Missouri, with 43,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, and the ability to host groups from 10 to 3,000. In addition, the resort offers many truly picturesque outdoor venues.
This honor follows other recognitions recently bestowed on the resort, which includes being named the “#1 Best Missouri Resort” and “#1 Best Branson Hotel or Resort” by U.S. News & World Report in its prestigious “2019 Best Hotels” rankings, for the second year in a row. The resort also recently received the coveted AAA Four Diamond rating for the 21st consecutive year, and it is the only hotel or resort in Branson to host the acclaimed AAA Four Diamond rating in 2019. In addition, the resort was recipient of ConventionSouth magazine’s acclaimed “Readers’ Choice Award” earlier this year.
