Late last week, Cerner CEO David Feinberg informed employees that the company will eliminate approximately 150 more positions early November. Feinberg recently became the healthcare IT company’s new CEO October 1, and after seeing a Reddit comment regarding layoffs, he provided transparency to Cerner employees about what would be coming next month. It is currently unknown which positions will be impacted.
The company announced in June that it would lay off 550 employees companywide. Cerner employed 26,000 professionals around that time.
