Candy brings to her speaking engagements “real world” experience from many industries and sectors, including training, retail, customer service, restaurants, entertainment, management, youth ministry and business ownership. She is certified by the International Customer Service Association, has been speaking for more than 25 years, and has owned SBG Services LLC for 14 years.
Candy is involved with the National Speakers Association (NSA). She currently serves on the organization’s Chapter Leadership Committee and the National Educational Committee choosing all presenters for NSA’s conferences and annual convention. She also has served on its board of directors, and was the 2007-2008 president of the NSA Kansas City Chapter.
You may recognize Candy; she is a former Kansas City Chiefs Chiefette, performed at the Starlight Theater in Kansas City, and modeled for Kansas City Star Magazine. Candy’s entertainment background makes each of her keynotes and general sessions more of an interactive and engaging experience than a presentation.
Candy’s publications and digital products include a top-selling book, It Takes 4 to Tango; and DVDs titled It Takes 4 to Tango, Bridging the Gap, Emotional Intelligence, Creativity Boot Camp Instructions and Game Bag.
She has spoken nationally and internationally. Her clients include Million Dollar Round Table, the Society for Human Resource Management, International Society of Association Executives, GE, Hallmark Cards Inc., WalMart, AgStar Financial and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
