The Ritz-Carlton is delighted to announce Amanda Joiner, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, as the recipient of The Ritz-Carlton Guardian Award at the brand’s recent General Manager Summit in Shanghai, China. Recipients of the Guardian Award are celebrated as champions of The Ritz-Carlton, taking on the responsibility of protecting and preserving the rich culture and heritage of one of the most iconic hotel brands in the world.

Joiner has been with The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis since 2015 and with The Ritz-Carlton brand for more than 25 years. She has led multiple properties and directed brand-wide corporate sales, among other roles, winning many coveted regional and national awards along her journey. In her role as General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, Joiner has overseen an extensive guest and meeting room renovation and remains committed to leading by example, guiding the Ladies and Gentlemen at the hotel to achieve their best as they continue to create indelible marks for guests.
At The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, Joiner is committed to supporting the local community, pioneering environmental causes and treasuring diversity, recently launching an impactful fundraiser, which involved the entire hotel team, to raise money for inner-city charter schools.
