A Harvest of Memories with GBTA St. Louis

The GBTA St. Louis Board of Directors has been diligently collaborating to stay ahead of the trends that impact the travel industry. The goal is to provide an open forum for the exchange of ideas between corporate travel workforce, travel industry suppliers, and regulatory agencies.

Now… let’s talk about its successful events in the summer and fall of 2023!

May Networking Event

Attendees enjoyed professional networking with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while overlooking the spectacular St. Louis downtown skyline at the luxury Hotel Saint Louis, Marriott Autograph Collection.

June GBTA Legislation Summit

Vice-President Becky Schlereth and Director of Government Affairs Robert Clark attended this honorary event in Washington, D.C., which empowered them to be the voice of business travel and represent Missouri on Capitol Hill.

August GBTA Convention

The GBTA St. Louis Chapter was well represented at the global conference in Dallas, TX.  Representatives attended a variety of events, including education sessions with insightful speakers and leading experts in the travel industry.

September Membership Meeting


“What’s Happening in the Lou” saw record-setting attendance, with community leaders in a panel discussion about the future of travel and tourism in St. Louis.  Everyone left the meeting energized and excited for the new developments in the Lou!  The event was held at The Pitch, across from St. Louis City SC soccer stadium, and followed by a personalized group tour of the new stadium.
