Kicking off the Spring event season, 612North Event Space + Catering is hosting a lively Open House for the public on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.  Located inside the historic Cutlery Building at 612 North 2nd Street, 612North is an on and offsite catering company that encompasses two uniquely gorgeous spaces, giving guests two completely different experiences in the same building.  So Hospitality Group owns and operates 612North, Drunken Fish, and Kimchi Guys.  All brands will showcase some of their most popular food items for guests to enjoy, like Drunken Fish’s award-winning sushi and Kimchi Guys’ Korean Fried Chicken, in addition to 612North’s most popular hors d’oeuvres.

Upon arrival, all will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of 612North’s signature cocktail, Something Blue, inside the unique lower-level event space, ARC.  ARC is an extraordinary underground space with beautiful historic original stone archways, vast modern bar, and intimately elegant feel.  Guests will then proceed to the 5th floor event space called VUE. VUE is the perfect backdrop for any event and offers nearly a 360-degree picturesque view of downtown, with large windows overlooking the Gateway Arch, the Eads Bridge, and the city skyline.

612North has lined up several popular and exciting hospitality vendors and entertainers to participate.  Guests can enjoy the energetic soundings of The Diamond Empire Band and DJ Connection, and taste delicious samples from The Cup, Sarah’s Cake Shop, Clementine’s, and Cake House Design.  All eyes will be treated to the stunning designs of An Affair to Remember, Decorum, Wildflowers, and Weinhardt, and notable photographers such as Sarah White-Klump, Zach Dalin, Jacklynn Noell, and Kelly Park.

“With such limited larger downtown venues, we wanted to invite the public to experience a safe environment to proudly showcase who So Hospitality Group is, alongside other incredible hospitality professionals,” said Munsok So, President and CEO of So Hospitality Group.  “612North hosts everything from weddings to corporate events and we want the masses to know we are doing it safely.  I hope that the public will come experience our open house and get excited that we are still here, still standing, and ready to host or cater your special event.”

With an optimistic outlook on the COVID-19 vaccinations, and the understanding that some of the St. Louis public is ready to safely venture out, 612North continues to strictly follow all CDC and health department guidelines in order to execute events implementing the following but not limited to, temperature checks, requirement of face masks, contact tracing sheets, social distancing, and hand sanitizing stations.

Advance registration is required.  Register at the 612North Open House Facebook Event page HERE or email events@612north.com before Tuesday, March 23, 2021.  For more information about So Hospitality Group, visit www.drunkenfish.com, www.612north.com, and www.kimchiguys.com.
